Casita 951

Casita 951 is the guest house located on the gallery grounds with its adjacent garden area, El Jardin de los Santos (The Garden of the Saints).  The guesthouse and garden are a contemporary expression of the traditional Sonoran-Mexican culture of the area. The guesthouse maintains the original handmade Saltillo and Talavera tile work from its 1947 construction, but has updated fixtures and furnishings that accent the expansive collection of contemporary art within. The garden features native cactus and succulents, a grotto, and a modern ramada, accented with brightly colored Mexican ceramics, accessories, and furnishings. Next to Casita 951 is the aviary and edibles garden, which provides many of the ingredients for our dinners and events.
