Korean-Sonoran Garden

The Korean-Sonoran Garden is a lush environment presenting a distinctly Korean aesthetic created through 풍수지리설 (Korean-style Feng Shui) using plants from and adapted to the Sonoran Desert. It is a verdant, “secret garden” that is flush with wild songbirds, hummingbirds, and dragonflies hovering and diving around an ornamental pond teeming with colorful fish. While the water feature is round, symbolizing heaven, there is a contemporary Korean tea gazebo constructed as a square, symbolizing earth, that brings balance and harmony to this peaceful setting.
