Bomi Park

Artist Statement

How does memory that is coming home to our heart look?
Bomi Park believes that as one reminisces, the memories come up as a vague illusion, and her work stems from the desire to visualize those memories. From any point of view her work gives an impression of impermanent movement. Her pieces appear almost as an afterimage that time leaves – a scattered blur from the traces of the past.
